Prenatal diagnosis

En el primer trimestre del embarazo, ofrecemos la posibilidad de realizar cribado prenatal mediante la realización del screening primer trimestre, que combina la información obtenida mediante ecografía y análisis. También puedes optar por  el estudio de DNA fetal en sangre materna, así como la realización de una biopsia corial o amniocentesis si es recomendable.

High definition ecography

We have state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment that allows us to perform high-definition ultrasounds, which provides us with clear and detailed images of the fetal anatomy, facilitating the early detection of abnormalities in the fetus, a correct diagnosis and precise monitoring during pregnancy.

Childbirth

Our team assists with childbirth at Centro Médico Teknon. Our mission is to accompany you in the childbirth process, in the way you choose.

The anesthesia team is available at all times if you decide that you need analgesia. There is the possibility of walking epidural, which blocks pain, but allows freedom of movement, as well as walking.

Our goal is to offer a safe environment, which can respond to possible complications, but at the same time emotionally accompany and respect your needs and wishes.

We never perform episiotomy in a generalized way, but we are prepared to apply the necessary technique in each case to protect the pelvic floor and properly suture any injury that occurs.

We also encourage the participation of your partner, who can cut the umbilical cord, do skin-to-skin contact with the baby and be by your side at all times, even in the case of a cesarean section.

Centro Médico Teknon has a neonatal ICU to provide assistance to the newborn if necessary.

We respect and support all birth options, whether vaginal or cesarean, making the event a happy, safe and comfortable experience for you, your baby and your partner.

Postpartum

We provide postpartum follow-up to help your body recover after the pregnancy and birth process.

After childbirth, vaginal health may suffer, so we monitor and treat any problems that may arise using physiotherapy or regenerative medicine techniques.

We have lactation consultants at your disposal, who can help you in the first few weeks.
